Its focus is to attract and relocate retiree households
into Colquitt County through marketing our community
as an attractive place to retire.
The chamber’s retirement committee has developed a
stunning publication that highlights all the best features
of Colquitt County and the opportunities available to re-
tirees. Future plans for the committee include develop-

promotion of those types of events already in place in
Colquitt County.

You may have noticed the many business marquees
around the county welcoming guests who attend major
community events. The marquee campaign, which

In partnership with the Main Street Program and in an
effort to bring shoppers to Colquitt County, the cham-
ber’s retail committee also hosts workshops for local
businesses to assist them in marketing themselves on a
shoestring budget and through the Internet.
Highlighting members is our focus and aim. With
that in mind, the retail committee developed its newest
