St Cuthberts Farmhouse
St Cuthberts Farmhouse is a traditional Victorian farmhouse situated on the Scottish border amid 600 acres of farmland above the
River Tweed, commanding a fabulous view of the surrounding countryside and the river.
St Cuthberts is the perfect base for families both with younger and older children. To avoid the logistical packing nightmare that is
normally par for the course when venturing on holiday with babies and toddlers, we have kitted the house out with lots of gear, both
practical and to keep the littlies amused.
We have created a Families page on our website which lists the child-friendly equipment available in the house as well as a multitude
of suggestions for fun days out in the area, which is bound to provide inspiration for entertaining kids of all ages.
The star attraction is the superb fishing available on the River Tweed (pre-booking required), which has a deserved reputation as one
of the world’s great salmon fisheries. The surrounding area offers much aside, including beautiful walks, the beaches of Berwick, a
huge choice of golf courses, riding at stables nearby and renowned landmarks such as Lindesfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles
all in close proximity, making it an ideal location for a holiday with family or friends.
St Cuthberts Farmhouse is just 3 miles from historic Coldstream, 50 miles south of Edinburgh and 10 minutes from
Berwick-Upon-Tweed which is serviced by the fast train from London to Edinburgh.
