The United States Constitution calls treaties “the Supreme Law of the Land.”
And yet, New York State continues to try and violate these sacred agreements
that have been in place for more than 200 years.
While, it’s no secret that Albany is struggling with a budget deficit of historic
proportion—it is a problem that comes from decades of overspending and
resource mismanagement. It is a crisis that the state created.
The Seneca Nation paid its fair share when it relinquished its aboriginal lands
to New York State hundreds of years ago. There is no reason the Senecas should
be paying the price today, especially when the Nation has poured millions into
New York State’s economy and created thousands of jobs in Western New York.
Join with us as we fight the unconstitutional taxation of products sold
on our lands.
