Kudos Showers has launched Aqua4ma – a new prod-
uct that saves up to 30 per cent on the cost of building
a fully watertight wetroom. Aqua4ma is 75 per cent
less time consuming to install, but does not compro-
mise on style or functionality. The patented Floor4MA
system allows the unit to stand 50mm away from the
wall where it securely drops down into the required
space. This means there isn’t a need to cut right up
to the wall or lower to the floor. The unit sits a mere
10mm above the normal level of the floor, so only
minimal height added. The wall and floor panels use
extruded UPVC. The interlocking panels, which are
100 per cent waterproof and robust, are secured by
a solvent weld adhesive. The adhesive reacts with
the UPVC resulting in a singular, rigid and 100 per
cent waterproof panel. These are then screwed into
place. The UPVC self-heals around the screws en-
suring the panel remains watertight.
