Introducing NION (n. nee-on), the next generation MediaMatrix
audio core. NION, or Networkable Input Output Node, is rooted in
the legacy of the unmatched power of MediaMatrix technology, the
world standard for audio processing.
After more than 10 years of dominance in the installed audio
and communications market, more projects worldwide use
MediaMatrix than any other configurable digital audio
processing system. Now it's time to raise the bar.
The rack shown on the left is capable of
supplying DSP power roughly equivalent
to 12 fully loaded equipment racks worth
of processing. It supports more than 250 analogue audio
connections, more than 250 CobraNet audio channels and
includes full support for Ethernet, SNMP, serial and analogue
control. All with 24-bit converters and 32-bit processing
throughout.
Stand alone, centralised, distributed, whatever—with NION, there
are no limits. There are no equals.
NION will change the way you design forever.

The companion CAB 4n breakout box gives the designer an easy way to add
I/O. Four configurable bays support multiple combinations of I/O, including
16x0, 0x16, 12x4, 4x12 or 8x8. Seamless integration on a CobraNet network
eliminates the need for proprietary interconnects or clunky audio “hubs.” Like
the NION, the CAB 4n is an Ethernet product and supports SNMP.
