EVLED
www.elationlighting.com
Elation Professional’s new lightweight, transparent IP65-rated LED
video panels are designed for creating vibrant video screens, curtains
and backdrops. The panels are available in three versions: medium-
resolution SMD Tri-Color, EVLED 1024SMD (20mm pixel pitch);
medium-resolution RGB Discrete LED, EVLED 1024 (18.75mm pixel
pitch); and low-resolution RGB Discrete LED, EVLED 256 (37.5mm
pixel pitch). Ideal for concerts, stages, touring productions and special events, the EVLED panels
feature an integrated rigging / hanging system that allows users to easily assemble any size LED video
screen. Up to 16 pieces can be linked on one AC circuit, and as many as 1,000 pieces can be run from
one Ethernet video output using Elation’s ELED VSC driver, which can run two outputs to two screens
simultaneously. With brightness up to 5,500 nits, the EVLED panels are fully viewable in daylight, unlike
many projection video systems. Featuring a rugged aluminum alloy frame and rubber compound
gasket, the EVLED panels are true weatherproof road warriors. Should a pixel get damaged, the user
can simply remove and replace the strip, without having to buy an entire new panel.

PLATINUM SPOT 5R

The Elation Professional Platinum Spot 5R features the revolutionary,
new Philips MSD Platinum 5 R lamp technology. The 160W, 7,950 lumen
(8,000K) Platinum 5R lamp produces an output comparable to a 575W
fixture, and offers a short arc and compact design with a bright, even field
of light, equating to a highly saturated colour palette. The lamp includes the
reflector built-in, providing perfect lamp alignment and a new optical sys-
tem each time it’s replaced. Elation’s Platinum Spot 5R is half the weight
and two thirds the size of a 250W moving head, plus it is faster than most fixtures in its class. Platinum
Spot 5R offers a full complement of professional design features, including: eight vibrant dichroic
colours; 22 gobos (eight rotating / indexing, 14 static); 3-Facet Rotating Prism effect; variable frost
(which allows it to function as a hybrid spot / wash); motorised iris; motorised focus; variable speed
shutter / strobe; and 0-100% mechanical dimmer. Operating on 16 DMX channels, the Platinum Spot
5R draws 350W of power, has a 540º pan and 265º tilt and a beam angle of 17º.
