Kilmacolm Dramatic Society
Celebrating it’s 65th Year!
For those of you who remember the early days of KDS our, fi rst play
was “I’ll Leave It To You” by Noel Coward in 1945 Produced by Malcolm
Service.
The society has gone from strength to strength, presenting two plays
almost every year since then. Our membership is very healthy and new
members are welcome to join us at any time. Contact Rosemary Thirde

ANNOUNCING THE KDS SPRING PRODUCTION “There Goes The Bride”
by Ray Cooney and John Chapman. Directed by Mandy Robinson…….A
fi endishly clever comedy farce that gets madder and funnier from
beginning to end. The play is now cast and rehearsals will commence
shortly.

“There Goes the Bride” will be staged at the Kidston Hall on Thursday
22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th April.

St Columba’s School
Pupils from St Columba’s school will be performing in a Youth Concert
to help raise money for Christian Aid. The concert will consist of
soloists, choirs and bands and rehearsals are underway now. The date
for this ‘not to be missed’ concert is Wednesday 10th February, at St
Columba’s Senior School hall. Please keep the date free in your diary
to support the young musicians and help the Kilmacolm Christian Aid
committee’s fi rst fundraising event for 2010. Happy New Year to you
all, with grateful thanks for your generosity to Christian Aid in 2009.
