and arrangements by Bizet, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky and others along with a of Youth Orchestras
performance of a selection from Tangos and Dances by Fionnuala Hunt. Four
orchestras take part in each performance. The Irish Aviation Authority 15th
annual Festival of Youth Orchestras, featuring over 400 young musicians from
around the country, showcases Ireland’s up-and-coming orchestral talent. A
must for all the family. The evening concert includes presentation of the presti-
gious 2009 Irish Aviation Authority Achievement Awards for youth orchestras.
