Brief
To modernise and generally freshen the
magazine layout and branding.
Solution
An injection of life was achieved by using
rich variations of typography in headlines
and hot quotes. This coupled with a new
energised colour palette engaged life
throughout the pages.
Using a strong image to reflect the content
at full bleed, a new cleaner masthead and
mixed cover typography gives the cover
more impact.
Navigation has been simplified with colour
coded headers for easy flicking.
The first issue of the new look was
launched at the Annual Meeting of the
British Cardiovascular Society with
overwhelmingly positive feedback.
