‘cycles of creation’ and more specifically sym-
bolism in Ancient Egyptian Mythology. Well, the
festival had definitely started! The lecture took
participants into the key principle of story and
symbolism as a vehicle for deeper meaning.
The interactions of mythic deities Isis, Osiris,
Horus and Seth were explored within the frame-
work of the four elements. Alchemy was at the
heart of this talk. What happens when aspects
are fused? What transformations are possible?
The lecture ended with participants questioning
Moustaffa on the relationship between Isis and
the Virgin Mary.
Jennifer Carmen speaker on Sacred Geometry
introduced her talk defining Sacred Geometry
as covering ‘the matter of all things.’ With verve,
passion and great magnetism Jennifer started to
put forward conceptual frameworks on ‘electro-
magnetic energy, perfect form, vibrational fields,
collective aesthetics and human interpretation’.
The talk was both cryptic yet totally basic, ev-
erything eventually being referred back to things
we encounter on a daily basis; sunlight, flowers,
music, the ripple on a pond and the shells in the
sea.
The talk ended on an example of transformation
and transcendence as when ‘ice becomes wa-
ter and then steam.’ Here was a direct example
