or the past 35 years, the MAC Decathlon
has flourished as one of the club’s
top athletic events. The new year always
provides extra incentive for those who
participate in the Decathlon. The seasoned
vets know this is a great time to rev up the
training and start focusing on specific events.
The MAC Decathlon has been blessed
by the influence of many outstanding indi-
viduals. Their accomplishments make it clear
why the Decathlon provides many of the
necessary building blocks for a long, healthy
and fit life.
Bud Lewis, Don Kane, Bill Cordano,
Larry Brown, Sarah Warner, Paul Trimble
and Nick Munly are true pillars of the
Decathlon and provide great meaning to
the word “longevity” and good health. The
