punk in an unforgettable live experience.
In 2009 the band exploded back into the charts with a ferocious
new record, Invaders Must Die, their fifth studio album. The
album was something of a return to the band’s hardcore rave
roots, combining dirty beats with catchy melodies and real
attitude, and the sound of it was, in part, shaped by what the
band had done before.
2004’s Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned was a more
experimental record, and less commercially successful as a
result. Following that, the band released Their Law, a compilation
of singles, and it was while touring that record that they fell back
in love with their own classic back catalogue, inspiring a return Start 2010 with super savings with up to 50% OFF

we could still make great records,” says Howlett, the main

Britain, and we should be protected like a national heritage.”
He says this with a dirty laugh, because The Prodigy have always
been anti-establishment, imbuing their sound with a punk rock
ethic which saw them recruit millions of disenfranchised music Escape from the bored-room
fans around the world.

And those fans have stayed loyal throughout. Invaders Must Die
sold well over a million copies and the band have spent the last
year playing their biggest ever live shows. The band’s tendency
to mix dance and rock has always been at the fore in the live
environment, but this time it was on record as well, with Foo
Fighters frontman Dave Grohl appearing on new single Run With
The Wolves.
“Toward the end of recording Dave Grohl called and said he was

about this album was planned in terms of what I wanted it to
sound like. We just recorded stuff and then looked at it at the
end. I really wanted to have fun with it.”
