AS Results
Below are the provisional results gained by Mechiston’s Lower Sixth cohort in their AS unit examinations in June 2009. e School
does not instruct the examination boards to ‘aggregate’ these unit scores to generate an overall result (and certificate); once a
grade has been aggregated it is permanently fixed and the candidate is deemed to have finished the subject. Candidates are,
therefore, able to improve on their current performance by sitting AS units again in January and/or June of the Upper Sixth.
