David Cooley
dates. Cooley explains, “That’s an interesting story. I actually hosted two parties
for the presidential candidates in one night, I did Barack at Area, which is another
one of our clubs, and I had Hillary at The Abbey. It was such a stressful night but
it was also the best night of my 19 years in business. I wanted to say that I did two
presidential parties in one night. I pulled it off and it was great. I never thought I
would be announcing, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Abbey our next
President of the United States Hillary Clinton” while looking out across the street
where I first started 19 years ago, so it’s probably one of my fondest moments to
be able to say that.” The Abbey also hosts a Christmas toy drive. David said, “Well,
actually I do a big toy drive for the Children’s Hospital and that’s called Christmas
in September, where we decorate the entire Abbey. The snow, is real snow and
we have people come in with toys. Then what we do is take the toys to the hos-
pital the next day. It’s such a joy to see those kids smiling when you hand them a
gift.”Guys worldwide will be interested to know the David is currently single. The
top bachelor says, “Got anyone in mind? (laughs) Ah yeah…yeah. I’m single. What
am I looking for? That’s a good question. Someone who is outgoing, fun, doesn’t
mind having a busy schedule, energetic and someone who likes to travel.”
