The American Guild of Organists is a national
organization whose purpose is to promote the
organ and its literature, to encourage excellence in
performance, and to provide professional support
to its 20,000 members through 330 local chapters.
The 200-member Denver Chapter pursues these
goals through monthly meetings, concerts, recitals,
educational activities and social gatherings.

Augustana Arts
Augustana Arts Concert Series presents
nationally and internationally renowned artists
and local musicians. Community outreach
programs include the City Strings program –
highly subsidized music instruction and free
instruments to underserved children;
Augustana Institute of Music; and musical
performances are provided to the elderly and
the sick in hospitals, hospice centers and
other venues.

Colorado Chamber Players
Denver’s outstanding chamber music ensemble,
celebrating its 16th season 2009-10. Their 12
musicians include string quartet, bass, piano, flute,
clarinet, oboe and harp. CCP is a two-time recipient
of Chamber Music America’s Residency Awards, SCFD
Creativity Awards and Argosy Fund, the group com-
missioned “Einstein’s Mozart”. They focus on new
music & traditional, give engaging school programs
and their 2010 project is “Bach’s 325th Anniversary”.
