Greyhound Club holds first party of the season
The recent meeting of the Sun Lakes Greyhound Club
Greyhound Club members gather with their dogs.
Sun Lakes Greyhound Club met and 14 greyhounds present, including being with other greyhounds and the of these gentle dogs, or if you have a
at the home of Bill and Lyn Munn two greyhounds that are available adults built friendships with others greyhound and would like to join our
on November 1 for their first party for adoption and a Sun Lakes couple who love the breed. If you would like club, please contact Bill and Lyn Munn
of the season. There were 26 adults thinking of adopting. The dogs enjoyed more information about adopting one at 895-3008.

Judy Berry of J Yang tours in Scottsdale
October was a busy month. On October
8 the speakers was Jeff Hafl ett of Detours
In Phoenix. Jeff told of all the wonderful
tours they handle in and around Arizona,
including 5-day tours that follow the
author Tony Hillerman’s path in Arizona,
the Kartchner Caverns and much more. It
was an excellent presentation. If you did

October 29 was all about China. Judy
Berry of J Yang tours in Scottsdale provided
an in-depth look at the 18-day tour she
has put together for the Sun Lakes Travel
folks. Judy provided refreshments and
fortune cookies. Excellent presentation.

November 12 was all about Trains.
Bill Gross of Rocky Mountaineer spoke
to the group about train travel in the
Rocky Mountains. We had an excellent
turnout but if you missed his presentation

NO meeting in December. January
14 will be all about River Cruising--who
are the companies and how do they
differ from big ship cruising? Destinations
like Vietnam, and the Mekong River;
Tulip Time in Holland in the Spring;
Summertime on The Danube or Rhine
Rivers or how about 12 days in Russia on
the Volga River?
Meeting Time change: at the request
of many we are moving our time for
monthly meetings to 7:00 p.m. This will
be effective with the January meeting. We
meet at Cottonwood Country Club in the
Phoenix Room (newly renamed). Look for
the Savvy Travelers Club suitcase. If you
