WHAT CAN WE EXPECT ON THE BREAKAGE
SPRING TIME
Austria’s biggest festival for electronic art and music, springfestival, returns to
Graz on May 20 for five days and four nights dedicated to the art of DJing and club
culture. For the ninth time, springfestival exhibits forward-looking electronic music
in all its varieties. Closely linked to the line-up, springnine offers an intensive
theoretic examination of electronic art and music in its program. With a series of
lectures and in workshops in cooperation with the FH Joanneum (University of
Applied Sciences) skills and techniques will be explored. And of course there will
again be the fantastic Red Bull Academy Sessions with renowned artists sharing their
experience face-to-face.
Among the many highlights of this year’s festival are Laurent Garnier playing a live
show for the first time live in Austria, a world premiere of Tosca’s new album ‘No
Hassle’ with band members Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber performing in
the magnificent Stefaniensaal concert hall,
Diplo, Fake Blood, Boy 8-Bit, Radio Slave, WhoMadeWho, Jazzanova, Fennesz, The
Whip, Benny Page & Zero G, Goldie & MC LowQui, LTJ Bukem ft. MC Conrad,

PENDULIvE
Pendulum are releasing a live DVD on June 15th
for fans eager to relive the glorious chaos of the
Pendulum live experience. Recorded at Brixton
Academy on December 4th and 5th 2008, the
DVD highlights a full live set directed by Paul
Caslin. Caslin was recently nominated for a
Grammy in the Long Form Music Video category
for his work on Rihanna’s ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’
DVD release. The DVD also comes with an 80
minute audio CD of the gigs. Aside from the
standard DVD / CD release, ‘Live At Brixton
Academy’ will be also be available as a single DVD
/ deluxe double CD package that will be sold
exclusively through www.pendulum.com as well as
an iTunes exclusive format.
You can also catch Pendulum live at many UK
festivals this summer. Having proven to be
too big for the tents at last summer’s festivals
Pendulum have been elevated to the main
stage for this year’s dates at Download, V, T In
The Park, Isle of Wight and Oxegen. Growing
demand for the band has been rewarded with the
confirmation that they will headline their first
major UK festival at Global Gathering in July.
