Care Studies courses prepare you for work or further training in occupations where other people are the focus and priority.
There are many career opportunities for both men and women in the wide range of Care and Early Years settings. Care Studies learners at Boston College are also very active in fundraising for charities.
You will be continually assessed through projects, assignments, professional practice and external exams. All potential students will be subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks. Successful completion at advanced level can provide progression to Higher Education or further professional training, such as Nursing, Midwifery and Teaching and Social Workers.

Carla went to school at Kirton Middlecott; during her time there she attended the College one day a week where she studied Hairdressing.
This experience opened Carla’s eyes as to what she really wanted to do as a career, and now understood that it was actually Childcare that she had a passion for. “A lot of my family work in Childcare, and I have always enjoyed being around children”.
