Joe moved to Boston with his family for the ‘peaceful life’ and with this enrolled on a course at Boston College. “Engineering is something I have always been keen on and there are loads of practical elements to the course, which I really enjoy. At the moment we are building a gravity racer, which is a great team project”.


ABC Motor Vehicle Studies


(Level 1) A course that will allow students to grasp the basics of motor vehicle related studies. Covering both theory and practical sessions. ATTENDANCE: 1 Year ENTRY: Successful interview and completion of assessment day, and a good tutor/school reference.


ABC Diploma in Motor Vehicle Studies


Level 1 A course designed to introduce the students to motor vehicle technology. The qualification is made up of ten units including Introduction to Engineering Equipment and Materials, and basic engine/chassis technology. ATTENDANCE: 1 year ENTRY: Interview, successful completion of assessment day and valid positive reference from previous school / college.


Not only being new to Boston but new to the College is a scary aspect for anyone “I found it really easy to fit in, everyone was friendly and it seemed quite easy”.
