Hebrew Academy
The holiday month ended with a
special Sukkah celebration. Our
older students were eager to solve
Rabbi Zeitz’s holiday riddles. Our
younger students, along with their
parents, enjoyed the mitzvot of
shaking a lulav and etrog, eating a
snack and dancing in the sukkah.
The Mechina, Kitah Aleph, and Kitah Bet classes made their own
personal flags for Simchat Torah celebrations.
Kitah Hey and Mr. Cohen had a chance to get “up close and
personal” with the Torah. They learned what’s involved in writing
the Torah and how difficult it is to be a Sofer (one who writes a
Torah)
We all had a great month all!
On Nov. 17th from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Kitah Hey, along with their
parents, will have their first stop on their “Jewish Journey with
Rabbi Zeitz.”
Coming Soon … Jewish Book Month … stay tuned for more!
