Season of Snow
T
he MAC ski team is an exciting
opportunity for members and their
families to meet new friends, improve their
skiing technique, and encourage a lifelong
pursuit of physical fitness in the great
outdoors.

The Ski Committee invites members to
the MAC ski team open house and orienta-
tion session Thursday, Nov. 5 at
6:30 p.m. Members socialize with athletes
and other MAC ski team families, have
their questions answered, and meet the
club’s experienced coaching staff.
There is a program for everyone,
including:
• MAC learn-to-race camp (ages 6-12),
open to non-members;
• MAC’s holiday ski camp (ages 6 and
older), open to non-members;
• Mini-Mites (ages 5-8);
• Mitey-Mites (ages 9-13);
• Junior race program (ages 13-18);
• MAC high school extension camp,
open to non-members; and
• Adult competitive masters ski racing
clinics.
The club’s experienced coaching staff
promotes team building and sportsman-
ship, and instills the positive values of
participating in competitive sports on and
off the mountain.
Mastering the fundamentals of ski
racing is an exciting experience in this
group environment. Coaches work with
team members of all ages to encourage
team dynamics, self-discipline, and
promote physical fitness with dry-land
training throughout the season. MAC ski
team has become one of the best programs
in the region, with athletes competing on
the national level, and dominating regional
championships.
