Atlantic Monthly,Harper’s,The American Scholar,Commonweal,U.S.Catholic,and America,as well newspapers around
the world.Among his awards and honors arethe Christopher Medal,the Catholic Press Association Book Award,and
the 2008 Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
