his imagination and from his heart and soul,
taking inspiration from the world of theatre,
fantasy and storytelling. He never ceases
to be thrilled by the positive reaction to his
work and knowing that what he creates
speaks such volumes to people. "I am most
proud that the world and the characters
I have created get tremendously positive
responses from the public." He is also very
excited by the prospect of meeting new
people up and down the country during
the tour – his fi fth in the uK. "the gallery is
my environment; my stage. It's a wonderful
opportunity for me to meet new people
and tell some of the stories and inspiration
behind my work. Knowing that people are
getting so much from my paintings inspires
me further."
Some of Paul's new pieces return to
the familiar scenes of his industrial art with
the working man pounding the terraced
back streets on his inevitable and relent-
less journey to work in a piece entitled ‘Life
& times’. "these everyday scenes have
formed a cornerstone of my work, and
since his fi rst appearance 'the Working
man' has become an iconic fi gure within
my paintings."
