Newmarket Safer Neighbourhood Officers raised £210 by making and selling
cakes as part of the national big coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support
on Friday. Three members of the team were on hand in the Guineas Shopping
Centre to serve the cakes and coffee.
PCSO Morgan who organised the event said: "Once again, we're truly delighted
with the support we've received from the public and overwhelmed with the
amount of cakes brought in for the coffee morning.
"Everyone has been very generous and, because of this and a genuine team
spirit around the town, we're delighted to be able to hand over a respectable
sum of money for MacMillan Cancer Support."
