Bath-based design company Animal Designs (AD) and the
National Gallery, London are launching the ‘Animals in Art’
range - a colourful selection of children’s birthday cards,
party invitations, thank you cards and wrapping paper.
The cards feature eight characters inspired by animals
from some of the Gallery’s most iconic paintings with information and
interesting facts about the featured animal, artist and painting on the reverse.
The cards cost 74p each trade and are supplied in sixes.
These unique products encourage children to engage with iconic paintings from the
National Gallery with the aim of engendering a lifelong relationship with art “We are very
