gruffalo seen in mumbles
Mumbles book shop Cover to Cover celebrated 10 years in business in a very
special way by inviting top-selling writer Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel
Scheffler to a book signing at the Ostreme Centre.
The pair, famous for children’s books, signed copies of their beautiful new book
Tabby McTat, and with them came their much-loved character, The Gruffalo, who
also had a birthday to celebrate – 10 years in print.
The Gruffalo had an easy time mingling with the crowd and chatting, while Julia
and Axel did the serious stuff – ending the day with acute arm ache after signing
more than 250 books.
