East 17 wow crowds despite
their comeback struggle

Backstage before the gig, Swansea Life exclusively
caught up with lead singer Brian Harvey. And in a
candid chat, the 35-year-old admitted the band are
having a tough time.
“I knew it was going to be hard if we reformed, but
I didn’t realise the extent to which it would be a
struggle,” he said.
“We love doing club appearances, but we can’t be
picky anymore. Money’s harsh and things aren’t
what they were. We’re prepared to put the work in,
though. Back in the day we were massive. There’s
got to be a way of carving it out again somehow.
We need to get our next album fi nished but people
are messing us about.”
