The Interbreed Competitions went very well for the breed with
Holsteins claiming four of the fi ve titles. Drointon Holsteins Champion Exhibitor Bred Holstein
took the Exhibitor Bred Heifer title with Drointon Ladino Hope

scoring a full house of 10 points awarded by the judges of
Reserve Champion Exhibitor Bred Holstein
the other dairy breeds British Friesian, Ayrshire, Jersey, Dairy
Long Partners’ Wagtail Lee Jed 2
Shorthorn and Brown Swiss. Her success was followed by the
Exhibitor Bred Cow Competition, and again, the judges were

unanimous in awarding the Interbreed title to the Holstein
Wills Brothers Limited’s Peak Sam Frantoosh
entry, Joseph Heler Farms’ Helton Talent Clarisa 2. The ring

fi lled up when the groups took their turn, and the quality of
the four Holstein cows on show ensured title number three.
Drointon Holsteins’ Drointon Ladino Hope
The overall Interbreed Champion Cow line up saw the Willsbro
Honourable Mention Holstein Heifer
crowd celebrate as Dilys remained undefeated and she took the
Aintree Holsteins Ltd’s Aintree Goldwyn Nugget B
crown with panache. A worthy conclusion to a great show.
