Annual Chef Showdown

The Center for Community Solutions hosts its fifth annual
fundraiser, “Chef Showdown 2009—Taking a Stand against
Domestic Violence,” October 22 from 6-9pm at the NTC
Promenade in Point Loma. Featuring a lively culinary competition
involving chefs from San Diego’s top restaurants, including Avenue
5, Café Japengo, Cucina Urbana, Kitchen 1540 and Urban Solace,
guests will enjoy delicious and unique food samples from featured
restaurants, plus cocktails, live entertainment and a live and silent
auction. Tickets are $125.
