Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation
Yavapai Warrior, by David Montour, 2000, located at the
Fort McDowell Casino, the bronze statue honors the courage
and initiative of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and their
efforts to strive for independence and prosperity.
Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Children’s Mosaic, 2005. Located in the Ahnala
Room at the Fort McDowell Radisson Resort, this stained glass mosaic, based
on classroom drawings, captures Yavapai culture,
art and history as seen through the eyes of
H’man ‘Shawa Elementary School students.
