OAR OF THE DRAGON
On Sun 6 Dec, Cardiff’s Atlantic Dragon Rowing Team
will be embarking on the adventure of a lifetime by taking
part in the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2009. They
will row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a 23-
foot boat from the Spanish island of Gomera to Antigua
in the Caribbean. This awesome feat is all in aid of
raising money for local cancer charities. The committed
team has already spent £35,000 on the boat and race
entry fees and currently has sponsorship with ten local
businesses. They are now looking for further sponsors
from Mermaid Quay businesses.

THE CASTLE
