An aging artist’s model fantasizes about an artist as he draws
her nude form. As a younger woman she garnered a great deal
of attention but now can only seem to get men to look at her
when she models. Lead actress and screenwriter Marlyn Mason
was Elvis Presley’s leading lady in The Trouble with Girls. Both
Mason and director Ray Nomoto Robison are Rogue Valley
residents. [adult content]

Director’s Statement
It seems the world of independent
filmmaking is filled with people who want
to write, produce, direct and even star in
their productions. They wish to have total
control of “their” movie. I gave up that part
of my ego long ago and now relish the fact that my films are
collaborations.
When Marlyn Mason showed me the screenplay for Model
Rules I knew I wanted to make the film and my next thought
was who would I like to work with on this project. For me,
filmmaking is more a journey than a destination and who I take
that journey with is so important. Making Model Rules was a
great decision because working with the cast and crew was
wonderful. Unlike Marlyn and myself, the people listed in the
credits receive little credit for their efforts. I thank them for
being part of this collaboration.
