We went back to the suite and met up with Arsenal legend, Tony Adams
and old Man U war horse, Joe Jordan, who were with Pompey at the time
of my visit. My Tour of Arsenal was over and Dennis asked me what I
thought of it all? “Absolutely fantastic Dennis… but Iʼm still a Hammer!”
I had an incredible time touring the training centre in addition to the
visit to the Emirates Stadium and I hope Iʼve given you an insight of the
mechanics of what makes Arsenal Football Club tick. It goes without
saying that many thanks go to Dennis Pinching for setting up this tour and
the knowledgeable Sean OʼConnor for permitting me to ʻgo behind the
scenesʼ. Iʼm in your debt, thanks guys.
