You could dance to the music of Blue 88. Or you
could head inside and pick out your new Harley-
Davidson motorcycle and make a deal with one
of the friendly and helpful sales people. Accord-
ing to one informed source on the inside, they
“were insanely busy, and sold a butt-load of
bikes.”
“July third was a great day,” Sales Associate
Diane Fontana expressed. “It was a lot of fun, just
like a Disneyland for adults. The place was jumpin’
all day. It was great to welcome more people into
the Harley family, so they could experience that
grand feeling of freedom on the road on their new
Harleys.”
Another enjoyable element of this weekend’s
activities, as relayed by Sales Manager and U. S.
Army veteran, Tom Allen, was “being able to honor
military veterans and current active duty members
of the military with a special gift.” The special gift
was a package of goodies and coupons. After pre-
senting my DD214 showing my service with the
U. S. Navy during Vietnam, and getting my gift
package, I immediately made use of one of the
coupons to purchase a new long sleeve t-shirt at
a nicely discounted price. Thanks Gail.
Motorclothes Manager Dani Schmill felt like she
was almost in a haze late Friday evening. “It was
incredible to see all of the new faces Friday. It was
astonishing to witness all of the enthusiasm for the
Harley-Davidson brand.” “Friday was busy and
stacked with customers,” Parts Manager Jerry
Scego concurred.
Saturday mid-afternoon the band Ninety 2
Nothin’ quit playing and the dealership closed
early enough for Gail’s team members to head
out to join their families and friends at the Lake for
another 4th of July celebration. Dani was definitely
looking forward to her trip to the Lake for a brief
two and a half day weekend before returning to
Gail’s Tuesday morning.
“The Freedom Fest was spectacular,” beamed
Gail Worth. “It was better than we ever anticipated,
for sure. There were so many people, it was so
cool, and a fun time.” Check the Wide Open
schedule of events for Gail’s next big event and
when you walk in to pick out your new Harley, tell
them Wide Open Motorcycle Magazinesent ya.
