Scumble Goosie Georgian style reeded panelling in sheet form.
Made from high quality 9mm moisture-resisitant MDF these boards
are ideal for transforming hallways and bathrooms. The joint
detailing is crucial to getting the right look with this type of product.
Poor imitations of our famous panelling can now be found in most
DIY stores but they usually have a very fake looking beading detail
or, worse still, a 1970's style “V” Joint! They are also usually much
thinner and made from inferior quality MDF. Fix to battens or if the
walls are in good condition simply glue on using a product such
as Gripfill adhesive. Finally, add a dado rail and skirting board to
match your existing to complete the look.
