Wood Window Alliance
The WWA puts quality at the heart of its
campaign, with a distinctive heart and tree
brandmark which appears on members’
windows. To carry the mark, window
manufacturers have to meet minimum
standards including complying with all
relevant British Standards and providing
independent accreditation to back up their
compliance. The main standard for wood
windows is BS664 but standards for ‘wind
and weather’ and ‘operational’ performance
are also included. WWA members must use sustainably sourced timber
and provide service life warranties on durability and paint life for the
windows they manufacture. So all in all you can be assured that WWA
windows provide the high standards of quality you are looking for.
