THE COTTAGES
Front Lodge
As well as the principal house and two integral
flats and Garden House there are an additional
five cottages and a Garage Flat at Moor Place.
Front Lodge is in the village of Much Hadham at
the gates to the estate. It is single storey, built of
brick under a tiled roof. Inside there are two
bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and sitting room.
Outside there is a brick and tile storage shed. The
cottage is on mains drainage and electricity with
gas central heating
Dell Cottage is set away from the farm buildings
on its own next to woodland. This is of more
modern construction, built in 1925 of rendered
brick under a tiled pitch roof. Downstairs there is
a sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen
with small utility area adjoining and WC. On the
first floor there are three bedrooms and a family
bathroom. There is private drainage, mains water
and electricity and oil fired central heating.
Stable Cottage is in part of the Grade II* listed
stable block in the main farm yard and built of
brick under a tile roof. On the ground floor are a
kitchen, utility room and WC, dining room and
sitting room. On the first floor there are three
bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master
bedroom is on the second floor in the attic
conversion with an en-suite shower room without
WC. There is private drainage, mains water and
electricity and oil fired central heating. Dell Cottage
Farm Cottage is in the main farm yard and is
attached to the old granary. It is built of brick and
tile and laid out over two floors. On the ground
floor is a kitchen, utility room, dining room and
sitting room and on the first floor three bedrooms,
a family bathroom and a separate WC. There is
private drainage, mains water and electricity and
oil fired central heating.
Dairy Cottage is to the south of the farm yard
opposite the Garden House. It is built of brick and
tile and laid out over two floors. On the ground
floor is a kitchen, dining room and sitting room
and on the first floor three bedrooms and a
bathroom. Outside there is a lean to garage and a

small garden surrounding the house. There is
private drainage, mains water and electricity and
oil fired central heating.
Garage Flat is on the opposite side of the stable
block from Stable Cottage and is laid out over one
floor above the garages. On entering at ground
level there is a lobby and boiler room. Stairs lead
to the flat upstairs which is made up of sitting
room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
There is private drainage, mains electricity and
water and oil fired central heating.
