GARDEN HOUSE
Garden House is on the edge of the walled garden to the south east of Moor
Place House and has been used as a Dower House. It has its own private
walled garden and is approached from the back drive. The house is built of
red brick with a later wooden clad extension. On entering through the front
door a long hall leads almost the entire length of the house flooding it with
natural light. All of the principal rooms are accessed from the hall as well as
the stairs to the first floor. On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen
with adjoining dining room, utility room, and study with an open fire. In the
extension the hall narrows and the floor gently inclines towards the drawing
room which has windows to two sides overlooking the private walled garden.
The main bedroom suite with dressing room and en-suite bathroom is on the
ground floor and there are a further three bedrooms and two bathrooms on
the first floor.
Outside there are garages and a private mature walled garden laid down to
FIRST FLOOR lawn and flower beds.
