attitude and commitment to succeed. We are currently seeking the following to join our in-house creative team:
Editorial Manager - Responsible for ensuring that the editorial content of all Watermark cards meets
expected standards of quality, variety and commercial suitability. This role will involve:
• Reviewing and recommending necessary improvements to all editorial, module by module, season by season.
• Liaising with freelance and in-house writers to achieve this.
• Recruitment of additional copywriters as necessary.
• Analysis of editorial performance and reporting to senior creative management.
• Improving systems of filing / organising our verse library to enable easy access for designers.
Relevant experience within the greetings card industry is essential to the role, and you will be expected at interview to
demonstrate a logical, practical and creative approach to the editorial planning process.
Editorial Planner - Working directly with our team of freelance writers, and alongside our in-house designers,
you will be involved in all aspects of the editorial creation process.
• Briefing projects to freelance writers.
• Criticism / amends / rewrites of editorial submissions.
• Assisting designers with the editorial element of range and design planning.
• Filing and organisation of our library of editorial.
There is also the opportunity for you to create your own copy. Relevant experience in the greeting card industry is essential.
