December Club
Three generations of CIPFA past presidents were at the cim@cipfa.org.uk or www.cipfa.org.uk/regions/mid/
summer meeting of the December Club of retired CIPFA
members in the Midlands. Eric Cobb,
Colin McMillan, and Diane Colley
were all present, together with Roger
Latham, now CIPFA President, as an
invited guest. The club met at RAF
Cosford which is probably second
only to the RAF’s main museum at
Hendon for its range and quality of
historic aircraft. The main attraction
is a hangar devoted to the Cold War
and the aircraft and missiles that
dominated during that time.
After looking around the hangers
of historic aircraft in the morning
members of the club were looking
forward to the afternoon’s visit
to the Cold War exhibition, but
found themselves frozen out!

unusually cold elements in order
to accommodate a new exhibit
