SUN AND BASS
Get your Speedos and bikinis out because Sun & Bass returns to
the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia from 7 to 14 September. If
you want to spend an amazing week full of good music and relaxed
people from all over the world then Sun & Bass is the place to be.
Sardinia is a beautiful island located west from the Italian mainland
just beneath Corsica. With its Mediterranean climate and breath-
taking natural sand beaches the island is a renowned holiday spot.
Sun & Bass takes place in a small, idyllic town called San Teodoro
still untouched by mass tourism.
Most days at Sun & Bass are centred around the bar at La Cinta
beach. La Cinta is a sandy beach three kilometres in length
surrounded by crystal clear water from both sides and is one of
the most famous beaches in Sardinia. At the beach bar you can
listen to beautiful music while chilling in the sand, playing beach
football or quenching your thirst with a cold beer. Bar La Cinta
is the perfect platform for DJs to dig deep in their record boxes
and play alternative sets alongside drum & bass. If you’re more
active then during the day you also have a vast array of sporting
possibilities ranging from tennis to golf to kite-surfi ng to boat-
tours to snorkelling to diving to climbing to mountain-biking and
beach volleyball.
At night there will be seven events at Ambra, a stunning club just
off the beach for a drum & bass party unlike any you’ve experienced
before. Artists confi rmed so far include Sci-Clone (live), Paradox
(live), Bailey, Klute, Doc Scott, Marcus Intalex, Zero T, Makoto, Dom
& Roland, Fierce, Utah Jazz, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, D-Bridge,
LowQui, DRS, Deeizm, Soultrain and many other big names will
be announced later. Keep checking www.sunandbass.net for full
line-up details and this is also the place to check for information on
accommodation, prices and fl ights to Sardinia. The organisers are
determined to keep Sun & Bass small and intimate so please note
that tickets are limited.
