THE SOUTH & WILTSHIRE Annual Stockjudging Evening
was held on Friday May 15
th
at Moorcourt Farm, Ridge,
near Romsey, Hampshire, by kind invitation of Mrs. Carol
Macpherson and family who are tenants on the Broadlands
Estate. Luckily the rain held off for the evening which was
well attended considering many members had to travel
from the north of the club area to the south.
Carol milks 200 cows which are housed in a large umbrella
building which includes the parlour, loose boxes and calf
pens.
Members were given three classes to judge and our
appreciation and thanks must be given to Jeff Daw who
was the master judge for the evening. The Young Breeders
classes were organized by the HYB co-ordinators, Anthea
