Medieval Melee
For those of you who thought that Cardiff Castle had seen
the last of its action hundreds of years ago, think again.
The Grand Medieval Melee comes to the capital’s castle
and brings all the excitement of past battles with it, with
none of the bloodshed of course.
The event will showcase sword fighting and medieval
combat, and give visitors a chance to have a go at being
Robin Hood for the day by taking part in the amateur
archery sessions.
Plus, all visitors will be invited to choose sides as
the battle lines are drawn up and Henry V makes an
appearance to command the ultimate battle: the French
versus the English in the re-enactment of the Battle of
Agincourt. Not too sure who I’d pick, would anyone fancy
changing history and fighting for Wales?
