Canvassing – the process of going down streets
and knocking on doors to sell products and
serices, may be the farthest thing from your mind
if you are selling professional services for the
architectural, engineering and construction com-
munity. But if your market is consumers and home
owners, does canvassing have a place? I decided
to investigate first-hand by travelling to Columbus,
Ohio, to observe canvassing training in action.
