Eventually she fell upon
Paris-based food photographers,

been slipping little fi gures into
the work they’d been doing for
French magazines. The results
are at fi rst glance similar to the
Half Baked Beings designs but
on closer inspection you get
the difference between Claire
Groves’ sardonic Brit-wit and the
Euro-camp humour of her Gallic
counterparts.
