one of the greatest benefits of the new
club’s location is it that provides Eagle resi-
dents with access to IAC’s dedicated and pro-
fessional staff of personal trainers, who can
work with clients to achieve important fitness
goals. “We have a real emphasis on function-
ality,” says Wardell, who notes that personal
training helps clients remain committed to a
plan of action that results in success. “People
are more likely to continue working when
they are accountable to a trainer.”
trainers also focus on nutrition and diet. “the
only way to lose weight is to burn more calo-
ries than you take in,” Wardell notes. Most peo-
ple don’t do well on traditional diets. trainers
emphasize proper nutrition over fad dieting as
a way not only to lose weight but to keep it off.
And regular exercise keeps people active lon-
ger, decreasing the risk of heart disease and
hypertension, as well as other life-threatening
or challenging diseases like diabetes. “It just
makes for a more happy lifestyle,” says Wardell.
rocky Mountain Fitness was traditionally
known for its children’s programs and youth
sports, and Wardell says that IAC remains
committed to those activities. “We know the
community wants it,” he says. “We are look-
ing for the best person to head up those pro-
grams. When we offer something, we want it
to be the best.”
the club frequently offers specials for new
members, and is transitioning former Rocky

ter May 2008, when the facility previously
changed hands. IAC is committed to serv-
ing the community and is
well aware of
the place the gym has traditionally occupied in Eagle commu-
nity life. “We want to make this even more of a hub for the com-
munity,” Wardell says. “We are thrilled to have this presence in
Eagle and to provide residents with a convenient place to serve
their fitness needs.”
