The winery’s “commitment to culture and
the arts” also involves plans for an 8000-square-
foot space that will serve as a studio and a gal-
lery, being rented out to local artists in a co-
operative fashion. “We’re looking at that being
a huge contribution…something we can offer
the public both to see the gallery and to see
people at work,” says Dudley.
Although Woodriver Cellars has often been
noted as Idaho’s “best kept secret,” the secret is
out. Friday and Saturday evenings burst forth
with activity, the aroma of award-winning
wines dancing on the air with the melody of
live music and the rhythm of fine art. I’ll drink
to that.

at the winery! Woodriver Cellars offers
wine tastings for only $5 until 6:30, when
dinner is served. Patrons can enjoy live
music starting at 7pm and play bocce ball
or peruse the displayed artwork.
