treated with sincerity and respect, and very welcomed! This Spa has
just celebrated their 25th anniversary and their understanding of what
rejuvenation is all about most definitely shows! Located in the heart
of Huntington, on Main Street, Spa Adriana Aveeda is well worth the
trip. Perhaps you’ll find Angelina Jolie enjoying the superb services
here!
Visiting the Spa at East Wind is an experience not to be missed!
Perfect for a daytrip getaway alone, or couples looking to relax together,
this Spa is entirely exceptional! The East Wind also has many weddings
and affairs, which makes it the ultimate spot for bridal parties looking
to restore and refresh as a group. As you check in to the Spa, located
downstairs from the main lobby of East Wind, serenity starts, with your
gaze being captured by an abalone tiled water wall. The Spa at East
Wind even offers lovely rooms for couples with a soothing rain shower,
hot tub, and two spa beds right in the room! I could easily see a bottle
of champagne and strawberries waiting right beside the hydrotherapy
hot tub, to indulge in before the aroma-assages! Is my husband reading
this? Everyone I came into contact with was very polite and friendly,
creating a welcoming feel once again. The Spa is so new and luxurious
it really allows one to feel as if on a faraway retreat. In the relaxation
room, you’ll find a three-tiered deep water blue azure scallop shell wa-
terfall surrounded by cushioned chaises, soft lights, and the sprinkling
sounds of the waterfall itself. In the lounge you’ll even find herbal teas,
granola, or coffee. Keyless lockers were a nice perk! I was treated to
a fabulously restful Sea C Spa Facial by Karen, a master at her craft as
Head Esthetician! She lulled me into a languished lofty feeling as her
long lasting results of reducing my wrinkles has been apparent. Karen’s
toned fingertips took me far off the shores of Long Island, at least in my
head anyway! What a rejuvenating joy whose rewards will be reaped
repeatedly. This lavish location exemplifies what La Costa in San Diego
used to tout, “We dare to care!”, as it had six different “flavors” of hot
tubs, oils, and creams to go with every person’s delights. Get a gaggle
of girlfriends together, go alone, or with your favorite someone- and
enjoy all you’d ever want in a spa destination at The Spa at East Wind,
right here on Long Island’s North Shore, in Wading River. It will be a
memory you won’t forget. All the spas I visited were extremely clean,
very hospitable, and gave the utmost attention to my care! Lucky to
be offered all this luxury without traveling to faraway spa destinations,
we certainly have it all on our exquisite isle.
