I’m all for it! For some moms, consignment
shopping is a treasure hunt. It is finding
the ultimate bargain and bragging to your
friends. It’s like the husband’s fish story,
only in reverse.
Let’s face it. Your kids have to wear clothes. They
are going to spit up, rip up, color up, and mess up their
clothes, no matter how many times you tell them not to
drag their feet and scuff up the toes of their shoes or
sit in the dirt on the playground. So why are we pouring
all of this money into items that your children may
ultimately destroy?
Or what about this scenario: how many of you have
ever bought an outfit, left it in the closet two weeks too
long, and pulled it out to find that the polo had become a
midriff (on your boy)! Sad, I know, but it happens. But
