Ludlow Castle
Weir at Ludlow
LUDLOWis famous for food and for
interesting buildings. The annual Food Festival
is very popular and the 2009 event runs from
September 11th to 13th. It's a great
opportunity to try a wide range of food and
drink, much of it from local producers.
Held in the Castle Grounds, it's right in the
centre of the town and it attracts so many
people that if you want to see Ludlow when
it's quiet, it would be better to choose a
different weekend!
You could spend a day strolling round the
town, looking at the architecture and popping
in and out of the many pubs, cafes and
restaurants. There's also a wide range of
interesting shops and you can walk by the
River Teme and take a look at the recently-

There are good views to be had, weather
